With 6 days to go until the 2014 Kicking Cancer’s Butt Tournament, we already have a fantastic total of over $7,000 raised for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Over $6,500 has been donated through the ORCF website and we have another $6o0 in cheques to add. So far Swift Kick to the Grass, Do It Live!, Zinidine Shenanigans and Dave’s Indies are leading the way and are vying for highest donation, each having donated over $500. Truly wonderful generosity all round.

A couple of spaces left

We have 27 teams already registered for the tournament, but still have space for one more team in the Saturday 10am-2pm section, and up to two more in the afternoon 2-6.30pm section. Teams can register by e-mailing chris@ottawafootysevens.com and anyone wanting to join as an individual can contact Dave Walls by clicking on his name.
As always, every penny of every team fee or donation goes directly to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation

On the day

We have a couple of other ways that you can donate on the day, by purchasing something to eat or drink from our pizza canteen, generously sponsored by Nadia Cheff of Keller Williams or by bribing the ref with a donation of the ORCF. More details on those to follow.
