Over the next week we’ll see the the first of our summer leagues kick-off with Tuesday Evening Men’s, Wednesday Evening Coed and Thursday Evening Coed all getting under way at Ben Franklin Dome, Sunday Coed at Carleton University’s Raven Field and Monday and Wednesday Coed at the Louis Riel and Hornet’s Nest Domes.
We have a very limited availability remaining for a few of these leagues and for our other summer leagues beginning in August.
Men’s 7-a-side and 11-a-side
We have both indoor 7-a-side and outdoor 11-a-side leagues available for men’s teams for the summer season.
After the great success of our Friday evening men’s 11-a-side during the spring season, we’ll be continuing with the men’s 11-a-side league at another fantastic new venue: the Ottawa Internationals turf fields at Hillcrest and Franco-Cite high schools. If you haven’t played on these fields they are a real treat, with two beautiful full size turf fields across the road from each on Smyth Road All games are at these fields, played on a full sized lined turf field and are officiated by a referee and a “fourth official”. Game times are all afternoon on Sundays and the team cost is $1400 + HST.
For those of you who prefer 7s and/or indoor games, the new season of our Tuesday men’s league at Ben Franklin Dome gets underway next week and we still have some team and individual spaces available. All games are indoors at the dome and the team cost is $750 +HST per team or $95 +HST for individuals.
Coed 7-a-side
Most of our summer coed leagues have already sold out, and there are no remaining teams spots left for Friday or Sunday evenings at Carleton University or Wednesday evenings at the Hornet’s Nest and Louis Riel.
At the time of writing we have 2 spaces left in the Monday league, and 3 in the Sunday league at Louis Riel/Hornet’s Nest. This is our last remaining availability for 90 minute games until the fall 90 minute league at Branchaud Briere Centre in Gatineau kicks off in October.
Although we already had 36 teams kick-off last night in the Wednesday league in Gloucester, we still have room to add more teams on Wednesday at the Ben Franklin Dome, and the grading games for that league will be underway next Wednesday. The league is our lowest priced coed league, costing just $750 +HST per team and $95 +HST for individuals.
