The Coed Thursday League got underway at Ben Franklin Dome and the forward lines were on fire with an absolute goal bonanza. The Green Team got things started with a goal just after the 6pm kickoffs, and almost 5 hours later, the One Timers smashed home an outrageous bicycle kick just before 11pm. Unfortunately we didn’t capture it on film, but we were sitting directly behind the goals and had a great view of it as it flew into the top corner.  In between saw over 120 goals rain in as an average of over 8 goals a game were scored in the 15 games. It’s a competitive looking league and all 5 divisions look as if they are very evenly balanced, so it should be a great battle for the promotion and relegation spots at the halfway point in the season.
