Saturday League at Carleton this time. The defenders are arriving just a little too late and the ball is rippling the back of the net. “Bulging the ole onion bag” as TSN Champions League commentator and generally annoying git Tommy Smyth used to say. The Champions League games sound so much better without his unending prattling over the top of them. We promise you we will never, ever hire him to commentate on any Footy Sevens games . . .
