As we head towards the tail end of the summer, don’t forget there are still plenty of options available to get another couple of months of footy in before we are buried in winter weather (and winter pricing!) for half of the year. Although it’s called our summer season, the upcoming leagues run from now until the end of October and offer outdoor and indoor options at spring and summer pricing. You don’t want to find yourself stuck in a footy-less void for the next 2 1/2 months, do you?
Outdoor leagues at Carleton U
Fall leagues are our favourite time of year to play outdoors when the summer humidity starts to disappear. A number of our Carleton leagues are already sold out, but we still have space for a few more teams and individuals in the Friday Men’s and Friday Coed which start this week, the Wednesday Men’s starting next week and the Monday Men’s and Monday Coed starting at the end of month. At time of writing, there is literally one team space each still available for our Wednesday Coed and two Sunday afternoon leagues.
Indoor Leagues at Ben Franklin in the west and Louis Riel/Hornet’s Nest in the east of the city
Although Mondays and Wednesdays in the domes are completely sold out other than a couple of individual spaces on Monday and a single Wednesday team spot to replace a last minute drop-out, we have spaces available now in our Tuesday Coed League in the east-end domes and some in the Ben Franklin Dome Tuesday and Thursday leagues which begin later in September.
As always full details are available on the Footy Sevens website and team spaces can be reserved with a $250 deposit.
