Ottawa is an amazing city during the summer months, but unfortunately “endless” is definitely not the best way to describe our summer. Bluesfest is over, the August holiday weekend is here and back to school supplies are appearing in the stores. If you want to get your fill of summer footy before the long winter months, time is starting to run out.
We’ve got the widest selection of summer and early fall soccer leagues we’ve ever offered and team and individual spaces are available. Both men’s and coed leagues are available 5 -nights-a-week at all of our favourite indoor and outdoor venues.
If you want to catch the the last of the summer sunshine, we’ll be at Carleton Univesity 5 nights a week for both men’s and coed soccer. Our Friday and Sunday leagues start next weekend, and if you want to become the 32nd team in our Sunday 90 minute coed, act fast as there is only one team space remaining. We’ve also got team and individual spaces still available in the 60 minute men’s and coed leagues on both Friday and Sunday.
Elsewhere at Carleton, the Wednesday coed is already sold out and there are only a couple of spaces left on Monday. Later in the month we’ll also have our late summer/early fall leagues available for men on Mondays and Wednesday and for coed on Thursdays.
If you don’t fancy trusting your luck with the Ottawa weather, we’ve got an equally wide range of leagues available indoors too, with some fantastic new mid-week additions at Ben Franklin Dome beginning at the end of the month. There’s coed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and men’s on Tuesdays. Before that we’ll have our usual 90 minute leagues running in the East end, at the Louis Riel and Hornet’s Nest Domes. Wednesdays is sold but some spaces are still available for Mondays and Sunday.
For registration and information on all our soccer leagues, head over to the Ottawa Footy Sevens Website or drop us an e-mail.
