Today is the last chance for current team captains to lock up their team’s spot in the upcoming summer season before spots are made available to the general public. The exclusive pre-sale finishes tonight and team registration will be open to everyone tomorrow (Monday 15th). Although most of our current leagues have a summer season coming up after the spring season finishes, some have significantly reduced capacities due to the changing field availability in late summer and early fall.
As these leagues will run from early August through until October, we’ve added a couple of additional indoor options for those of you that like to move from outdoor to indoor as the weather gets a little cooler.
New for Summer 2015
We have a new Monday evening coed league at Ben Franklin Dome beginning on the 10th of August and Wednesday evening coed at the same venue beginning 2 days later. We’ll also have a new Sunday evening men’s league starting on the 2nd of August. The Sunday men’s at Ben Franklin Dome will be the summer continuation of our current spring Sunday men’s league at Carleton University.
Leagues with Reduced Capacities
Due to the changes in field availability later in the year, there will be some leagues that have fewer team spaces available in summer than the number of teams currently playing in the spring league. Once public sale opens, all spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so we would recommend early registration for the following leagues to avoid disappointment.
Leagues with fewer summer spaces than the current spring equivalent:
- Monday Coed at Carleton U
- Monday Coed at Louis Riel/Hornet’s Nest
- Wednesday Coed at Carleton U
- Wednesday Coed at Louis Riel/Hornet’s Nest
- Sunday Evening Coed at Carleton U
Individual Players
Registration for our individual spaces opens on the 22nd of June and we also have our weekly pick-up soccer sessions available each week.
Full details and registration for all of our leagues can be found on the Ottawa Footy Sevens website.
