Another penalty shoot out, and another moment frozen in time. We always seem to have at least one playoff game in each league that goes to a penalty shoot-out. For a team game, it’s a part of the game where the teams hopes drop entirely onto one player’s shoulders. It becomes an oddly individual moment whether you are taking it with the Champions League final or the Spring Wednesdays Coed at Louis Riel (Division C) semi final at stake.
Talking of individuals, and shoehorning-in a tenuous segue, we are only one day away from the individual sign-up for all Footy Sevens winter leagues. If you don’t have a team, and would like to join the league as an individual and be placed on a team, registration for our winter leagues opens tomorrow. The winter leagues will begin in January and February depending on the day.
