The 2013 Kicking Cancer’s Butt Tournament surpassed a milestone last night as the total raised for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation exceeded the original target of $8,000. With 10 days to go until the tournament, more money coming in from the teams, donations on the day from referee bribes and the barbecue still to come, 2011s record of $10,400 raised looks well within our sites.
There are 33 teams already registered, but there is still availability to fit in another team in each of the three sections (Friday evening, Saturday morning or Saturday afternoon). Details can be found under the Kicking Cancer’s Butt tab at the top of the page.
