Stand-Up Comedy Show: 9pm Saturday May 13th at Barley Mow Pub, 1060 Bank Street
Kicking Cancer’s Butt 8 Breaks the $10,000 barrier
Every year we are amazed by the generosity of the Kicking Cancer’s Butt participants and this year is no exception. With almost a week to go until the tournament, over $10,000 has already been raised for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Three teams in particular have really gone above and beyond with their generosity. I’ll Have Another and grASSkickers are always great supporters of the tournament and raise a ton of money every year and this year is no exception with both raising over $800. However, even they have been left in the wake of Team Grayson who have raised a stunning $1670. Incredible!
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the tournament over the years, no matter how large or small: the Kicking Cancer’s Butt tournament has now raised over $85,000 for the ORCF. And there is still plenty of time to contribute to this year’s tournament whether it is online, in person at the tournament, by bribing a ref or by buying tickets for the KCB 8 Stand-Up show . . .
