Monday saw the first regular season games of the Fall Monday League get underway out in Gloucester and it was straight into the action with defending champions Tugals going down 3-0 to Come at me Bro. After a close first half, Come at me Bro eventually sealed the deal with a 2 man breakaway that left the Tugals goalie with little chance.

A tight game between Aggressive Salmon and new teams Durty Burds FC raged from end to end without anyone finding a way past either goalie until a single second half goal gave Aggressive Salmon the points. Los Pinguinos Rojos squeeked by the Killer Bees by 2 goals to 1 and Holding Cell A got off to a flyer with a 5-3 victory over 4’Suresies in an entertaining game over at the Hornet’s Nest. That was an especially impressive result for a team of individuals that only met last week and are playing in a tough and experienced Division A.

Get Some and Powerplouffe Girls are at the top of Division 2 with identical 3-1 victories, the later putting an exclamation point on their victory with the goal of the night (see above) a right footed thunder bolt that flew past First Past the Post goalie, Benjamin Lecker. In Division C only The Indies and Les Blues could record first night victories and the Shadow Boxers posted the largest victory of evening, 8-2, and lead the division on goal difference from Multiple Scoregasms.
