It’s only three weeks to go until the 2012 KICKING CANCER’S BUTT CHARITY COED SOCCER TOURNAMENT. Once again coed teams from all over Ottawa to do battle for the trophy and raise money for cancer research and treatment in Ottawa.
Your team can take part in this wonderful event with a minimum donation of only $250, and EVERY PENNY OF EVERY DONATION GOES STRAIGHT TO THE OTTAWA REGOINAL CANCER FOUNDATIN. Over the last 2 years the event has raised over $16,000 for the ORCF.
The tournament is a one day 7-a-side coed soccer tournament and will take place at the Louis Riel Dome in the east end of the city. What better way could there be to warm up for your spring soccer season?
Each team will play a minimum of 3 games during their round robin section and all games take place on Saturday May 26th. Teams can chose to play their round robin section on Saturday morning (9-1pm) or Saturday afternoon (1.30-6pm) The qualifiers from each section will play in the final knockout stages between 6pm and 9pm on the same day.
We already have 18 teams signed up and expect to see many more. Even if your team isn’t able to take part this year, help us to spread the word and pack the tournament to capacity to provide much needed funds for cancer treatment and research right here in the National Capital Region.
