Kicking Cancer’s Butt 8
Saturday May 13th
Carleton University
25 teams have already registered for the 2017 Kicking Cancer’s Butt tournament and only 7 team spaces remain with the tournament still almost 4 weeks away. Last year’s champions, Armee Rouge/The Shockers are back to defend their competitive title along with 2015 champions The Killer Bees. Can Armee Rouge become the first team to post back to back wins?
You Can’t Handle the Huth were first off the mark this year as the first team to register. The awesome I’ll Have Another hold the record for the most ever donated by a single team and are once again leading the way on that front with over $500 already donated.
Team Registration
7 team spaces left for the 8th annual Kicking Cancer’s Butt charity tournament on May 13th 2017 at Carleton University.
The tournament is a fundraiser for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and as always EVERY PENNY OF EVERY TEAM FEE OR DONATION GOES STRAIGHT TO THE OTTAWA REGIONAL CANCER FOUNDATION. Over the last 7 years the event has raised over $74,000 for the ORCF.
The minimum donation per team is $275 and every team will play a minimum of 3 games.
Teams register for the tournament at the Ottawa Footy Sevens Website and will receive their details of how to make their online donation directly to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation by e-mail within 24 hours of registering their team. Please do not make your donation before receiving the instructions as it it can become difficult to track which teams donations belong to.
Individual Registration
We’ve opened up individual registration for one team of indies to make sure that you have a chance to play whether you have a whole team or not. We are looking for at least 4 male and 4 female players for the team, up to a maximum of 11 or 12 players for the squad to play in the recreational side of the tournament, The minimum donation is $40 and that will include your team shirt for the event.
