This week will see the first of our fall leagues kick off at the Complexe Branchaud-Briere, and we have a few spaces still available for coed and men’s recreational soccer for fall 2013.
Coed Leagues:
Monday, Wednesday and Sunday at Louis Riel Dome
Our Monday, Wednesday and Sunday Coed leagues at the Louis Riel Dome are all completely sold out, as are our Sunday and Monday leagues at the new Ottawa University Lees Dome. We do have a couple of individual spaces still available for females in the Sunday league, though.
Friday Coed at Carleton University
Friday Fall/Winter Coed at Carleton University will begin in mid November, and although we already have 16 teams registered we have room for a couple of additional teams.
Tuesday and Thursday at Complexe Branchaud Briere
Those of you who played in the recent Play From the Heart charity tournament (raising over $4300 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation) will have seen at first hand just how great a venue the new Complexe Branchaud Briere is, and we have two coed leagues available there. Tuesday is 90 minute games for those of you that don’t get the chance to play as often as you would like during the winter and would enjoy the longer game time when you do. Kick offs are 7.00pm, 8.30pm and 10.00pm. Thursdays are the standard 60 minute games with an even split between 7, 8, 9 & 10pm games, with an occasional 11pm. Neither league has any 6pm games, which saves any Ottawa based players from having to fight the rush-hour traffic across the bridges.
Men’s Leagues
Sunday Men’s at Ottawa University
Our Sunday Men’s Soccer at Ottawa University’s Lees Dome has two remaining team slots available and handful of individuals.
Tuesday and Saturday Men’s at the Louis Riel Dome/Hornet’s Nest
We still have both team and individual spaces availble for our Tuesday late league (10 and 11pm kick offs) and Saturday Men’s League at the 2 domes on Bearbrook Road domes.
Details and registration for all of our fall leagues can be found at www.ottawafootysevens.com.
