Last Year’s Recreational Champions “Legion Honey Garlic”

Tournament regulars Get Schwifty were the first off the mark for this year’s Kicking Cancer Butt tournament, registering for the tournament within minutes of registration going live on our website . . . and before we had even posted to say that it was live!
As always captain Seb C. went above and beyond, pulling together both a Competitive section team and a Recreational section team. They became the first of a dozen teams who have already registered for Kicking Cancer’s Butt 9 on June 9th.
Please join us at Carleton University on June 9th for this year’s tournament. As mentioned in earlier posts, with your help we are looking to add to the $89,000 raised from previous tournaments and smash through the $100,000 barrier. As always, all of the referees and organisers are volunteering their time, and Ottawa Footy Sevens are footing all of the other costs to ensure that every penny of every team fee goes directly to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
You can find full details and registration for this year’s tournament on the Footy Sevens website.
