Team registration for our winter leagues is now open!

We just opened team registration for all of our winter leagues, and as well as the old favorites continuing on from our Fall seasons, we’ve been able to add some great new options for the new year. It’s the widest range of indoor leagues we’ve ever been able to offer and some of the new additions will be especially welcome for those of you living in the south of the city.

Functional Training Academy’s Bentley Fieldhouse

We’ve got some great early evening slots on Tuesday and Sunday at the new 5-a-side venue near the Costco on Hunt Club. 5-a-sides plays a little differently to 7s and is easily the most popular form of small sided soccer in the UK (Joel and Chris get very misty-eyed whenever someone mentions fives) and its a game for quick passing that keeps everyone involved all of the time because the ball switches from end to end so quickly. The Tuesday coed league is 6, 7, 8 and 9pm kick-offs and the Sunday coed is 5pm and 6pm. Both leagues start in January and are lowest priced leagues for the winter season. Coed and Men’s Ben Franklin Dome

We added some brand new leagues at the Ben Franklin Dome and will finally be able to offer coed there with a new Sunday afternoon league as well as late evening men’s leagues on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hopefully that will be music to the ears of those of you who have been begging us to find the field space to start up a coed winter league there!

New Tuesday Coed in Gloucester

Over on the other side of the city we’ll also be adding Tuesdays Coed at Hornet’s Nest, in addition to the Monday, Wednesday and Sunday Coed and Tuesday Men’s at the two domes in Gloucester.

. . .and don’t forget Ottawa University

We already have over 100 teams playing at Ottawa U’s Lees Dome, and we are packed to capacity, so we won’t have any new leagues on offer there, but we will of course have our regular Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday Coed leagues and Sunday Men’s leagues starting in February at the end of the current fall seasons.

Looking for a quick start in the new year?

Most of our winter leagues kick-off in February or early March, but if you are looking to get on the field to work off a few extra holiday kilos, try these leagues which start in January:
