Kicking Cancer's Butt 5 & Spring Reg Update

It’s almost here . . .

Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation
Our annual charity coed soccer tournament, Kicking Cancer’s Butt 5, will be back again for 2014. Last year saw 38 teams raise over $13.000 for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. The first four years of the tournament have raised an incredible $37,000 , and this year we’ll be hoping to break through the $50,000 barrier.
As always the tournament will be a coed 7-a-side soccer tournament and 100% of every entry fee will be donated directly to the ORCF. Full details of date, location and how to register will be online early next week and the tournament will take place in late May/Early June.

Spring Registration Update

Carleton University StadiumPassing by Ravens Field at Carleton University today,  it looked fantastic and ready for play. As everyone’s thought’s are turning to spring, here’s s spring league update. Although we have 220 teams already signed up for our spring leagues, we still have plenty of spaces available.

Carleton University

Both our Friday and Sunday leagues at Carleton University have already sold out, but we have a plethora of alternative indoor and outdoor choices still available if you have missed out.

Indoor 90 Minute Coed at Louis Riel Dome

Mondays and Friday are sold out, and we only have a few spaces remaining in our Tuesday (3 spaces) and Sunday leagues (10 spaces).

All New Downtown, Outdoor Leagues at De La Salle

It’s been less than a fortnight since we announced the location of our downtown venue, but there’s already 120 teams signed up to play at this great new venue.  Wednesday coed is sold out, and Tuesday coed won’t be far behind. We also have coed available on Monday’s, Thursday’s, Saturday’s and both 60 and 90 minute games on Sundays.

New Old-Timers League on Sunday Mornings

We had a few request for Old Timer’s leagues from some of the players and teams in the leagues, and we’ll be launching our first over 30s league on late Sunday mornings with 10 and 11 am kick-offs at De La Salle.

Men’s and Women’s Leagues

In addition to our coed leagues, we have women’s (Wednesday) and men’s (Tuesday and Sunday) 7-a-side leagues available at De La Salle. We’re also bringing back last year’s popular men’s 11-a-side league which will take place on the turf fields at Ottawa University and De La Salle.
As always registration and full details can be found at the Footy Sevens website and you can contact us at admin@footysevens.com
