In another first for Ottawa Footy Sevens, and taking our cue from the NFL, we laid on fireworks for the winning teams at the final whistle last night.
Okay, fair enough, we didn’t really, the fireworks were from the nearby Victoria Day display at Dow’s Lake.
It did make for a cool backdrop for the 9pm games, though.
